In-Person - From Habits to Wholeness: A Hanna Somatics Series

In this series you will experience slow, gentle movement techniques to unlearn your habitual tension patterns and gain greater ease, coordination, and movement freedom. Through movement differentiation you will discover how your individual parts can move with improved clarity and uniqueness, while movement integration will help bring your ease and coordination to new levels.

Over the series we will journey through your muscles, joints, and fascia, each class offering a new area of physical focus and relationship to your whole soma. As you release old patterns and cultivate new ones, you may notice decreased pain, increased mobility, improved balance, deeper rest, and enhanced performance in daily and recreational activities.

January Yoga Lab: Balancing with Confidence - If you'd like to to be dancing in your 90's this workshop is for you. The ability to balance physically contributes to both independence and longevity as we age. Yet significant numbers of adults, ages 20 - 90, report struggling with balance. The good news is we can all improve with practice! This workshop will explore different components of balance, and present ways to strengthen our balance, while meeting our bodies where they are. Props may be used for support and plenty of alternatives will be presented. This workshop will be accompanied by a short practice video that is yours to keep.

What is Yoga Lab? Monthly Workshops continuing through 2026, for a small group of students to explore a single asana or asana subject in-depth. Whether you are new to the asana/subject, or are looking to refine or advance your practice, this is your chance to explore, ask questions and be seen individually. Various methods, means of support and alternative asanas will be presented so that all leave with the confidence to practice joyfully and sustainably for their bodies.
