This popular class is designed to bring the
joy of music and movement to toddlers and their
caregivers. Our classes are perfect to engage your child in
active music-making through singing and rhymes,
movement, instrument play, quiet activities and focussed listening.
All activities are with a purpose to create an environment in which
the child's music aptitude is nurtured and
skills are developed. Music
is of the highest quality - fun, educational and
rich with classical and folk music that has stood the test of time.
Teachers will also supplement with their favorite songs and
activities as well. Join us for some fun!
Home materials include a different CD and songbook each semester,
as well as a different instrument or prop each semester (i.e.
rhythm sticks, jingles, scarves, finger cymbals, sandblocks etc.),
allowing the learning and fun to continue at home.

Welcome new and experienced parents and
caregivers! This beautiful class will invite you to
revisit beloved music, and learn new songs and activities to
interact with your baby.
Bond with your child in this class, which nurtures
a bond of love and security, increases your
child's curiosity about music, develops
listening skills, and sense of flow and
beat through movement, and provides a
foundation of repertoire and activities for you and your
child at home.
During their first year and a half, babies learn so much - from
absorbing music and movement activities, to being active
music-makers. Neural connections are developing at a rapid
rate, and the best way to build these connections is
through musical activities. Activities in this class include
bouncing and rocking songs, wiggle and peek-a-boo games, singing,
nursery rhymes, and moving to music. Teachers may also include
infant massage and sign language. Bring a friend and meet new
friends. So much fun for you and your little
one!
Our Music for Mixed Ages classes are perfect for
siblings and music friends of different ages (0-5 years).
This class will incorporate fun songs, lots of movement, instrument
play and stories centered around a different theme each week.
Caregivers will be able to take song, movement, and play ideas home
with them to help stimulate musical and physical development in
their child; it will also provide families with new ways to bond as
they make music together. Included in each class is parent
education why musical activities are so important for your child's
development.
