About the Class
Adult participation is required in this class. This class is designed to introduce our youngest athletes to fundamental gymnastics positions, technique, and progressions that lead to increased skill difficulty over time. We prioritize safety above all, and balance expectations of effort and correctness with a healthy dose of silliness and fun. This class is ideal for families with siblings!
Equipment
Our equipment collection is limited compared to full-scale gymnastics clubs given our current space restrictions, but we’ve invested in quality items from top trusted brands. We currently have a single bar, low balance beam, and several tumbling mats. Participants will be introduced to all equipment throughout the session even if not all of it is utilized in a single class. The structure for both classes includes a warm-up, focused group work, circuits, conditioning, and games. We may also have special visits to some of the other gymnastics-specific equipment in the space (i.e. trampoline) depending on lesson plans and availability.
