Prenatal Wellness Series

Join Mary, Alexandra, or Lauren on Sundays 1:00–2:30 this fall to learn ways to take care of yourself and your little one during pregnancy. We'll learn how yoga can be helpful for pregnancy and birth, discuss ways to support yourself during labor (including mantra and breath work), practice safe movements, plan for the postpartum period, and share ideas, concerns, and joys with other pregnant students. This series will offer a way to connect with other moms and birth parents and to learn about self-care using the tools of yoga during this unique time.

Join the entire series for $150 ($140 before September 1) or drop in to a single session for $35. This series has a six-student minimum to run and a 18-person maximum, so please sign up soon to ensure it happens and to save your spot.

Whether you’re six days postpartum or six years, this is the workshop for you! Post-pregnancy, the abdominal muscles, hips, and pelvic floor can benefit from integrative poses and movements to get rocking again.

We’ll discuss the changes your abs and hips have undertaken, and then we’ll move through a series of useful core-engagement activities and hip strengtheners to reawaken the ability of your body. And if you have tight and tired shoulders, you'll learn ways to find relief.

You’ll leave with a handout of movements you can do on your own at home to continue your strengthening journey. Join Pilates and yoga instructor and Whole Mama Yoga cofounder Alexandra DeSiato for a workshop that will get you feeling a bit more like the old you!
