Intro to Meditation & Mindfulness in the Park

Learn how to manage stress, become more resilient, sharpen your awareness and truly live in each moment by developing a practice of mindfulness and meditation.

This six-week series will build on each session, teaching you about the attitudes of mindfulness and introducing you to a variety of meditation styles, including guided breath, box breath, soft-gaze, sound meditation, body scan, walking meditation, mantras, guided imagery, affirmations, and more.

Sessions will occur on Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Gully Brook Park open-air shelter at 2100 River Rd., Willoughby, Ohio 44094.

Please note that we will be following all state-mandated requirements for these sessions. As such, to limit contact, pre-registration online is required. We require each participant to attend wearing a mask and will space students at least six feet apart for the entirety of each session.

Please monitor your own health carefully, and do not attend a session if you are running a temperature, have a cough or are generally feeling unwell, or have been exposed to COVID-19.

Sessions will take place underneath the open-air shelter, so we will continue as scheduled even if there is a light rain. If the weather or forecast is more severe, the session will be held online instead. Please check our website and Facebook for the latest news.
