An evening with award-winning mindset coach, Kim Ingleby.
You're putting in the hours. You're fitter than you've ever been.
So why aren't you performing to your potential? It's not
your fitness, it's your mind. Too many athletes are held
back not by their training, but by self doubt, nerves, and subtle
self-sabotage that creeps in when performance matters most.
This session is about changing that.
Join mindset coach Kim Ingleby for a powerful and practical talk
focussed on
- overcoming self sabotage and limiting beliefs
- building real confidence from training though to race day
- unlocking consistent performance when it counts
- simple mindset tools you can apply immediately
- enhancing not only your performance but your enjoyment of the sport.
Because the truth is, you're fitter than you think - your brain just hasn't caught up yet!
Kim brings a unique blend of elite experience and real-world resilience. She has:
- worked with athletes at all levels, from first timers through to multiple Olympic gold medalists
- competed as a GB age-group triathlete, Scotland U21 eventer, and in numerous adventure and ultra-marathons around the world
- raised nearly £100,000 for charity
- navigated complex injuries and challenges
Her message is simple: unlock your potential and commit
to yourself
This isn't theory, it's the subtle side of training
that often makes the biggest difference.
If you want to:
- stop holding yourself back
- race with confidence
- have your best season yet
this is for you!
Come along, shift your mindset, and leave ready to perform at a level you know you're capable of.
This course is aimed at those can swim but are very new on their front crawl journey. Maybe you are a breast-stroker looking to 'convert' to front crawl or someone who just doesn't know where to start to improve.
There will be 5 practical pool sessions and an online course with video demonstrations and things to practise in between.
We will go through the fundamentals of what makes up a front crawl stroke and take you through each stage so you understand not only what to do, but WHY it's important. We will work with the way YOU move, rather than teaching everyone a one size fits all stroke, and give all individuals pointers on which aspect of their stroke to focus their efforts on.
Aimed at those that can comfortably swim at least two lengths of a 25m pool (any stroke) and be comfortable in the deep end of the pool.
Please note the first session starts 15 minutes earlier, meeting in the reception area of the leisure centre. Subsequent sessions start on poolside.
