
These classes are for tappers who are looking to get back into it . You should be able to pick up tap choreo quickly and be ready to get a good cardio workout in. The combos are pretty fast, show specific, and lot of fun!
If you are looking to audition for CYPT this summer, you should try to take as much tap as possible!
Please wear clothing you can move in! This year masks will be optional. We do ask that if you are unvaccinated, please wear a mask as we are in a room exercising and breathing heavily. All our dance classes have no dress code. As such, please wear clothing that is easy to move in and you feel comfortable stretching in, like yoga attire or running shorts. For classes with tap dancing you should have flat tap shoes. If you do not have tap shoes, you may wear hard soled gym shoes to class. This class will advance the student’s knowledge in different dance styles like: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop and Musical theater. Each week we will concentrate on stretching, strengthening and building our technique as well as learning a bit of choreography from a different dance style. We will work on Chaînes, pirouettes, battements, grand jetes, fan kicks, control, picking up choreography, and quality of movement designed to challenge advanced skilled dancers!

This class is for tween and teen Musical Theater Performers. Dance is such an important part of Musical Theatre and it is important to get an early start!
Each week will be a fun exploration of Musical Theatre styles of
dance. This class is built to give every performer the fundamentals
of dance and technique so they can shine on stage or in an
audition!
