Of course the follows will stand out with some nice styling of their own and the leads will definitely learn some new outstanding patterns to turn some heads.

This dance is Mambo! Salsa in disguise. Many don't know that
Mambo is the original dance and Salsa is what popularized the genre
underlyingly. This is a special workshop series as this subcategory
of salsa usually only gets taught to performers and dance team
members of ETOWN SALSA. A portion of this class will be footwork in
solo and the majority will be partnerwork patterns. You will learn
timing on2 which will be an essential part to this class that
requires music appreciation.
You will need to have some dance experience in Salsa on1 or other
dance background in partnering dances in order for you to grasp the
concept of Mambo as it really focuses on music in order for you to
succeed at this dance. Good music background , especially in
percussion is key to mastering this style. We recommend completing
at least one series of level 1.5 (Salsa on1) in order to join this
class. This class is designed to challenge you but we will take the
class at a slow pace in order for everyone to understand the timing
concepts well.
