A deeply restorative Yin Yoga practice held within the beautiful and healing Salt Cave at Evolve Wellness Collective. Participants will perform slow, nurturing postures while experiencing the many benefits of the Salt Cave. This event will allow you to not only rejuvenate the physical body, but will also open space for you to connect to your breath, your heart space, and your inner voice. During the event, cards will be pulled for each guest intuitively by the instructor to help give you guidance. You are worth the time that it takes to slow down. You are worthy and deserving. Optimal Wellness Life Skills: Treating Trauma with Yoga
This workshop explores how trauma impacts the nervous system and how yoga can be used as a gentle, body-based approach to healing. Participants will learn how movement, breath, and mindfulness practices can help restore a sense of safety, regulate the nervous system, and reconnect with the body.
Drawing from Polyvagal Theory and trauma-informed yoga practices, this workshop offers simple, accessible tools that support emotional regulation, reduce stress responses, and promote a greater sense of calm and resilience.
No prior yoga experience is needed—this workshop is focused on using movement as a supportive and empowering tool for healing. This workshop can also be used as a teaching guide for yoga instructors who value being trauma-informed in their teaching style.
Join Doug and Becky for a
transformative 90-minute journey inward, where breath and sound
become gateways to deep inner space. The session begins as Becky
skillfully guides you through Wim Hof Method breathing
techniques—designed to elevate oxygen levels, awaken the nervous
system, and release stagnant energy—preparing your body and mind
for profound letting go.
This breathwork is intuitively supported by Doug’s live soundscape,
weaving together the soulful tones of Native American flutes, the
crystalline resonance of singing bowls, and the soothing presence
of natural sounds. Together, these elements create an immersive
atmosphere that deepens the connection between breath, body, and
spirit.
Following the breathwork, you’ll be transported into a fully
immersive sound bath—a meditative sonic journey crafted to
encourage introspection, energetic clearing, and emotional
clarity.
Infused with healing energy and intentional presence, this
experience invites you to reconnect with your inner spirit, release
what no longer serves you, and cultivate a deep sense of peace,
balance, and renewal.
