Experience “serenity in the midst of activity” as we practice 19 gentle, fluid movements and 1 pose in the non-martial art of T'ai Chi Chih, a moving meditation. Originated in 1974 by an American, Justin Stone, these movements can be performed by individuals of most any age, ability, or condition; while standing or sitting.
T'ai Chi Chih is for:
-Seniors or people with physical limitations.
-Beginners who want an easy entry point to energy work or meditative movement.
-Anyone seeking stress relief, better balance, and a sense of inner calm.
-People who want the benefits of T’ai Chi without martial training.
Some of the many reported benefits include stress reduction, increased energy, improved balance, mental alertness, and enhanced creativity. Scientific studies have shown that T'ai Chi Chih has boosted the immune system response of the elderly, reduced anxiety, reduced depression, and relieved pain. No experience or special attire is needed. All are welcome!
