In this 8 week series, we will perform a choreographed aerial dance performance to music with those past beginner level and are comfortable moving about, inverting and doing tricks in their hammock. Get ready to have fun, LOTS of laughs, physically & mentally strengthen the body in completely new ways, & meet some amazing friends!
A 8 week course is designed for students to uniformly advance together. If any poses don't agree with your body, no sweat! Everything is adaptable :)
-Aerial class packages can not be used towards this series, and missed classes will no longer be credited back to your account (sorry, it's become too hard for fellow students & teachers to continue the flow of the series).
students have taken 3-5 intro to cirque or silk hammock drop in classes and feels comfortable climbing and inverting in the air!
our intro to cirque drop in class on Mondays at 7pm are perfect for beginners. We also have a drop in for silk hammock every Tuesday at 545pm for all levels!
In this class, we will cover the foundational techniques of pole dancing, enabling you to master beginner tricks and seamless transitions on the pole. You’ll also explore low-flow choreography, linking movements together to create a fluid and well-rounded routine.
To note:
1) Please wear as little clothing as possible as our skin is what helps us to stick on this apparatus. Short shorts and sports bras recommended.
2) Avoid moisturizing your body the day of your class please, this will make it harder to do the movements. The drier the skin the better!!!
