Wrist Strength and Longevity for Yogis - A Hands-On Workshop
Wrist pain is one of the most common reasons yogis modify or skip poses, but it is almost never inevitable. This workshop gives you the tools to practice smarter and feel better in your hands for the long term.
You will learn how to properly activate and align your hands in weight-bearing poses, work through a full warmup and stretch sequence designed specifically for yoga practice, build real wrist and forearm strength using simple tools, and modify poses like downward dog, plank, and chaturanga when your wrists need support.
All skill levels welcome as we will address both modifications and progressions.
This workshop is led by Kristyn, who is not only a certified yoga teacher but also a fitness instructor, personal trainer, and neuromuscular therapist. if there's anyone who knows body mechanics, mobility, and preventing injuries, it's Kristyn! She has valuable knowledge to share with you.
