Tap Into Inner Peace: EFT + Sound Healing
Sep 6, 2025 - Sep 6, 2025

As we transition and prepare for fall, take a pause with us to recenter and find your peace. EFT combined with the soothing sounds of healing will bring rejuvenation that will carry you through this season.

The Emotional Freedom Technique, also known as EFT tapping, is an alternative therapy that aids in the healing of trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, physical pain, insomnia, PTSD and more. EFT is a technique which utilizes the body’s energy meridian points. You stimulate these meridian points by tapping on them lightly with your fingertips – literally tapping into your body’s own energy and healing power.

In this workshop, you will learn the tapping points, the science behind why this practice works, and how acknowledging emotions helps participants create new energy patterns. The workshop will conclude with a sound bath and guided meditation that promotes peace and relaxation.

Lauren, the workshop facilitator, is a Certified & Accredited EFT Practitioner & Energy
Healing Coach. She helps her clients tap into their self healing power, and break through obstacles - physical, mental, or emotional so that they can live a happier, healthier life.

[WEBINAR]: Medical Aid in Dying...What's It All About? Virtual
Sep 10, 2025 - Sep 10, 2025

The medical aid in dying (MAID) act was signed into law by Governor Meyer on May 20, 2025 and will take effect January 1, 2026, allowing terminally ill adults to request and self-administer medication to end their lives in a humane and dignified manner. Delaware will be one of 10 states in the US to offer this option in end of life care.

Join this virtual event to learn about the law, ask questions, and use a guided meditation to assess your personal stance. This event is donation-based and supports mental health and wellness for the local community. A recording of the webinar will be shared with registrants following the event. If you cannot attend live, but would like to receive the recording, please register.

Hosted by Michele Stutzman and Heather Pope. Michele, who many know as Shelley, is an End of Life Doula practicing in Sussex Co after having retired from 31 years of nursing, with a special interest in advocacy and support for end of life care. Heather Pope (she/her) is the Delaware Campaign Manager for Compassion & Choices. This non-profit organization's mission is to improve care, expand options, and empower everyone to chart their own end of life journey. For the past 10 years, Compassion & Choices has been working in Delaware to advocate for the passage of legislation authorizing medical aid in dying for terminally ill adults. Since the passage of the Ron Silverio/Heather Block End-of-Life Options Act in spring of 2025, Heather and her colleagues have been working to ensure the legislation is implemented effectively and that patients/providers in the state are fully informed about this newly available end-of-life care option.

Make a Mindful Mug with Millie
Oct 3, 2025 - Oct 3, 2025

Join Millie and make your very own mug! It is a fun way to get your hands dirty and your creative juices flowing! Using the pinch pot technique, she will walk you through the process of making your ceramic mug with a coil handle. You will paint your own surface designs using a variety of colorful underglazes. You will choose your interior glaze color and Millie will take the mugs back to her studio to fire and glaze them. This finishing process will take about 3 weeks. The mugs will be fully functional and can go in the microwave and dishwasher. You'll have the satisfaction of drinking out of a mug you made!

Miss Millie Ceramics is the creative work of an artist who has been drawn to making since childhood, first inspired by building a birdhouse with her grandfather in a garage filled with tools, wood, and possibility. Though art wasn’t a central focus growing up, her roots in a family of union workers and builders shaped her strong work ethic and hands-on approach. A high school ceramics class sparked a lasting passion for clay, eventually leading to a BFA from Alfred University in 2005.

Over the years, she has created sculpture, taught ceramics to all ages, and developed her own line of functional wares. Miss Millie Ceramics now features playful, hand-painted pottery for everyday use and mixed-media jewelry crafted from clay and foraged shells collected from her travels. Her work celebrates color, curiosity, and a deep love of making that has endured through all seasons of life.
