Team Girls: Women’s & Teen Girls Jiu-Jitsu Workshop

A women-only introduction to jiu-jitsu designed to help women and teen girls build confidence, learn solid fundamentals, and feel comfortable stepping into regular co-ed training.
Whether you’re completely new or already have some experience, this workshop offers a safe, supportive environment to learn and grow alongside other women and teen girls.
What’s Included
- 8 coached workshop sessions that build on each other
- Access to our
co-ed classes throughout June & July:
- Tuesdays & Thursdays at 7:00pm
- Saturdays at 12:00pm
- Structured curriculum focused on fundamental jiu-jitsu skills
- Small group atmosphere with personal attention
Program Structure
- Weeks 1–4: Gi (we can provide a gi if need be)
- Weeks 5–8: No-Gi (leggings and a fitted t-shirt work well)
This progression is designed to help students gradually build confidence and familiarity with both styles of training while becoming comfortable in a regular class setting.
What You’ll Learn
Basic fundamental positioning and movement in jiu-jitsu, including:
- the ball system
- creating frames and levers
- understanding posture and base
- escapes from common positions
- maintaining control and balance
- safe movement and body awareness
- learning how to fall properly and move safely on the mats
- partner drills and live positional training
- how to train safely and confidently in a co-ed class environment
Our Goal
This workshop is meant to be a bridge into long-term jiu-jitsu training—helping women and teen girls feel prepared and confident joining co-ed programs, whether at our academy or anywhere they choose to train.
The focus of this workshop is building confidence, understanding, and comfort on the mats—not competition or intensity.
