Sunday Savasana
Oct 8, 2023 - Oct 8, 2023

We live in a busy world. We know we need to slow down…but how? How do we slow down in a world where we’ve not really been shown HOW to slow down? This is especially true of us who seem stuck in “fight, flight, or fawn”. Here is your invitation to learn HOW to slow down in a way that is supported by science and ancient wisdom.

In your 90-minute Sunday Savasana session here at Inner Space, you’ll be offered up tools. Learning to slow down and tend to our mind, body, and inner healing takes time and practice. Here we ensure that comfort is tended to before moving into deeper spaces.

What will your session look like?

· Introductions: Depending on the vibe, we will have a short period of introduction with a journaling prompt offered up (you may bring your own journal or use the mini-note pad provided for you).

· Grounding: This part of the practice will bring you fully into your space so that you may create your own experience.

· Slow somatic movements: Here we move into simple, mindful movements to help refamiliarize you with your body in a secure and loving way.

· Restorative poses: Each restorative pose utilizes the support of props to tend to the body so that it may be gently guided to a space of healing.

· Full Savasana: Now that the body and mind have reconnected, we tend to the inner self. You’ll be guided on how to set up what is referred to as a Full Savasana.

· Tarot reading: Deep meditation offers up the ideal energy for a small group reading. A card will be pulled, and its meaning will be given and left for everyone to interpret based on their own personal connection with it. Those who wish to share may do so if they like.

· Closing: You’ll be slowly guided back into a more aware space, tea and time for journaling will be offered.

The intention of this 90-minute experience is to offer up tools, time, and opportunity for you to reconnect with the natural gifts you’ve been given to heal. Because the grounding and restorative part of this session creates a high level of universal connection, it becomes the prime opportunity for the Universe to speak to us, thus, a tarot reading can bring more insight into this healing energy space.

***While props are provided, it is always recommended that you bring whatever may make you comfortable. Because this is a restorative practice, loose, comfortable clothing is suggested. Your body will shift into “rest and digest” mode thus you most likely will become cold. Layers are a good idea.***
