- Strength Foundations
WHO?: For parents with babies 6 weeks - 18 months and who
have been cleared to exercise by their healthcare provider.
Strength Foundations is an in-studio class designed to help moms rebuild strength with intentional, progressive dumbbell work. Each week, you'll build upon fundamental movements, with a strong emphasis on pelvic floor activation, core stability, and full-body strength. Work in your own designated space, improve your form, and gain confidence—all in a supportive, baby-friendly environment.
*Participants are asked to bring their own yoga mat and whatever you and baby need to be comfortable.

Details:
- Get moving: This year we'll be kicking things off with a rhythmic somatic 30 min session with Dana at 9am.
- Get playing: As always we'll be playing some classic (and not so classic) christmas theme games!
- Potluck Style: Bring your favourite holiday breakfast item
- Arrival Time: Feel free to arrive anytime after 8:30AM so we can start promptly at 9am; we’ll begin eating at 10:00 AM.
- Drinks Provided: We’ll take care of the coffee, tea, OJ and mimosas.
- Games & Prizes: Enjoy games throughout the morning with plenty of laughs and great prizes!
This isn’t a “workout” class, just a time to relax, connect, and have fun.
This program is designed for postpartum parents who are ready to return to exercise safely and confidently. This program focuses on rebuilding strength, improving core and pelvic floor function, and progressing you toward more advanced classes at a pace that feels right for your body – all with baby in tow.
While the BYOB Prep Program isn’t a prerequisite, it is recommended for anyone experiencing more significant pelvic floor concerns after birth.
WHAT IS IT?
This program is targeted towards postpartum individuals looking to optimize their recovery and return to exercise in a safe, supportive environment. BYOB-Prep is a specially designed group Physiotherapy program led by pelvic floor trained Physiotherapist, Sama Farah-Mina.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
Initial Assessment / Mandatory / Available dates for booking:
- Monday Evenings (Dec 1st, Dec 8th, Dec 15th, Jan 5th)
- Saturday Mornings (Dec 13th, Jan 3rd, Jan 10th)
Your assessment must occur previous to the beginning of the session on Jan 6th and is to be booked via the BOOK NOW prompt on the BYOB website page OR via the appointments tab on our app.
