Who benefits from an ICAP? Individuals with aphasia and the stamina to participate in 5 hours of therapy per day.

What is an ICAP? 

• ICAPs provide intensive, evidence-based therapy (3+ hours per day for 2+ weeks) for individuals with aphasia.
• ICAPs are comprehensive, with multifaceted treatment approaches including individual and group therapies, technology, and client/caregiver education and support.
• ICAPs focus on maximizing each individual’s communication and participation in activities that are meaningful to them.

• Monday - Thursday 9:30 am - 3 pm
• Pre-testing week of July 8
• Post-testing August 7
• Post-treatment debriefing August 8

What is the cost?

The cost of the program is $6000, which includes pre- and post-treatment assessments, individual and group therapies, client caregiver education/support, and home program. We currently do not participate in billing private insurance or Medicare/Medicaid for this program.
