All are welcome to attend and learn about this powerful lineage-based healing tradition.
Join us for a heartfelt Día de los Muertos workshop where we come together to honor our ancestors through creativity, reflection, and tradition. This special event will be a celebration of life and memory, as we build a communal altar with photos and offerings for our loved ones who have passed.
Throughout the workshop, participants will:
* Create a personal mixed-media shrine on canvas, using meaningful materials and symbols to honor the spirits of their ancestors. You’re invited to bring small photos, fabric, written notes, or other lightweight mementos to incorporate into your artwork.
* Craft beautiful paper marigolds and papel picado, traditional symbols of remembrance representing the beauty and impermanence of life, to decorate the altar or take home as meaningful offerings.
* Reflect on the significance of the holiday through guided meditation and journaling, exploring how we can carry the love and wisdom of our ancestors into our daily lives.
We’ll close with a candle-lighting ritual, illuminating our shared altar and offering gratitude for the generations that came before us.
Feel free to bring photos of loved ones and any special offerings (flowers, candles, food, or small mementos) to add to our altar. Together, we’ll create a sacred space of remembrance—full of light, color, and connection.
All art materials will be provided, and no prior experience is necessary. This workshop is open to all who wish to connect with their heritage, celebrate loved ones, or explore the traditions of Día de los Muertos.
Space is limited, so reserve your spot today!
Illuminated Gratitude: A Creative Fall Workshop
Before the holiday season begins, take a pause to reflect and reconnect with what truly lights you up. In this hands-on creative workshop, we’ll explore the spirit of gratitude through art, mindfulness, and gentle seasonal reflection.
You’ll design and decorate your own illuminated rice-paper lantern — a glowing reminder of appreciation, warmth, and inner light to carry into the darker months ahead. Using layered textures and autumn-inspired color, your lantern becomes both a work of art and a symbol of mindful intention.
You’ll leave with:
-
A handcrafted rice-paper lantern to brighten your space
-
A simple creative practice for cultivating gratitude
-
A sense of calm clarity before the rush of the season
No art experience necessary — just curiosity and an open heart.
Registration fee: $33 (includes all materials and supplies).
As the holiday season approaches — often full of noise, movement, and emotion — we invite you to pause. Join us for a deeply nourishing afternoon of gentle movement, vibrational soundscape, and healing energy — a co-created experience to soothe the nervous system and awaken the spirit before the busy days ahead.
We’ll begin with gentle, somatic movement to ground the body and invite energetic flow. From there, we’ll transition into stillness, resting in a spacious sound bath that unfolds like a gentle tide — shimmering tones that vibrate through the body, soft melodic textures that lift and open the heart, and subtle rhythms that echo the pulse of the earth. The sounds may feel like a lullaby for your nervous system — grounding, expansive, and deeply restorative.
This offering is lovingly held by Sound Healer, John Yoakum, who creates immersive, multilayered soundscapes that invite deep nervous system rest, and Reiki Master and somatic guide Jina Daniels, whose intuitive energy work supports gentle release and integration. Together, they weave sound and healing energy into a grounded and expansive experience. Each moment is an invitation to soften, to let go, and to receive — in whatever way your body and spirit are ready for.
This experience is open to all. No prior experience is needed — simply come as you are, and give yourself the gift of calm before the season unfolds.
A yoga mat & blanket will be provided. You are welcome to bring additional comfort items such as pillow, socks, eye-covering, etc.
Energy exchange: $44 per person
