This practice will include grounding poses and a guided meditation. The practice is for mixed levels, so beginners to advanced practitioners are welcome!

The Yoga Trapeze, used in conjunction with mat yoga, offers a comprehensive fitness modality. It allows functional pushing, pulling, holding, twisting, bending, and grip strength! It builds a great deal of upper body and core strength. It also allows for deeper, passive backbends that can be held for longer periods of time. Yoga Trapeze inversions counteract gravity, creating space and length in the spine through simple, gentle, bodyweight traction.
In our Trapeze 2 class we will start with a review of our basics class and add in some new skills that will focus on increasing abdominal, back, and glute strength. This is a challenging class. We recommend that students have a basic yoga background and that they have taken Trapeze Basics class prior to this session.
Join us for our Water Sound Bath on Sunday, May 3rd at 5:30pm!
A Sound Bath is a full-body listening experience that uses specific frequencies to relax and nurture our mind, body, and spirit. At JB Wellness the sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are primarily from crystal quartz singing bowls. Using these powerful instruments provides us with an opportunity to unplug from the external stimuli of our busy lives, and helps us to gain perspective on what’s going on within us through deep rest and relaxation. This sound bath occurs in the warm therapy pool at the Russellville Aquatic Center where we will float on the water while listening to the singing bowls. Please feel free to bring your own flotation device or choose to use pool noodles provided by the Aquatic Center.
Join us for this unique opportunity on Monday, May 11th at 9:00am. We will focus on gentle stretches, breathwork, and poses for mom to regain strength after pregnancy, and to help with postpartum recovery, and poses and massage for baby to promote development and bonding.
