Give your child the chance to try out a new sport that will help with both their physical and mental development while having lots of fun. Our Junior FREE taster sessions will give your child the basics in fencing, how to move and even fencing against an opponent before the sessions ends. Once this session is completed, we hope your child will find the love of fencing we all have and want to sign up for a full beginners' course.

This FREE taster session will last 1 hour & 15 mins. It includes full tuition plus any kit & equipment needed for your child to participate.

Your child will need to wear tracksuit trousers (no Shorts - sorry) a top and trainers.

Please note all classes will be subject to enough to run a quality assured led session. If numbers do not exceed a fixed amount 48 hours before the class is to be held your session will be moved to another date where we can guarantee more attendees.

This is the ultimate try before you buy! Try your hand at fencing with all tuition, kit & equipment thrown in. You will be given full instruction and be fencing against an opponent before the end of the session. We know you will fall in love with this sport and be begging for a full beginners' course before the day is out :)

Everything you need will be supplied you will need to wear or bring long tracksuit trousers (or leggings), a top and trainers. Please note NO SHORTS or unsuitable footwear is not permitted - sorry

Everything your child needs to learn to start their fencing journey. Following the British Fencing award scheme that focisses on he FUNdamentals of Movement, Agility, Balance and Coordination as well as the importance of play, fun and enjoyment of sport. For this young age we use foam & plastic sowrds with smaller sized masks and kit to esnure their safety is paramount.

All kit and equipment is supplied as part of the course.

This is a consecutive 6 week course, therefore you will attend on the same day and time on a weekly basis for 6 weeks. Once you have completed the beginners 6 week course your child can then attend any Little fence sessions available.

Our Mini Fence courses follow the British Fencing syllabus to enhance not only their fencing skills but also your child's general physical and mental attributes including balance, co-ordination, focus and concentration.
