# Japanese for 14-17 years: Beginner 2 Virtual

14-17 YEARS - BEGINNER 1: The FIRST segment of the comprehensive Beginner level five-course series designed for children ages 14-17 with a Beginner Level.

Materials are not included in the tuition.

Teaching Method: Native-fluency instructors promote the use of Japanese in the classroom by using activities, grammar drills, visual elements as well as conversation. Instructors use various audio and visual elements that are complementary and inter-related so that the same vocabulary or element of grammar is practiced and reinforced in many different ways to create variety, encourage participation and avoid boredom.

Beginner level description: A great course for students who are 14 to 17 years old and have no or little language experience.

COMMUNICATION: Asking and describing where things are, talking about things that happened in the past, talking about habitual actions in the past. Talking about travel, making offers and invitations, asking the postage cost and buying stamps at the post office,

COMMUNICATION: Talk about habits and difficulties, duration, make recommendations, describe feelings, motivation, talk and relate past events.

GRAMMAR: Present of regular verbs and irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, form and use of the preterit, markers to express the past, preposition desde, durante y hasta.

VOCABULARY: sentirse ridículo/-a, seguro/-a, inseguro/-a, professions, alphabet, movies, biographies.
