Join Kia for an afternoon to receive. As the state of the world has led us into a space of heightened tension, it feels imperative to dedicate our time together to rest and receive, as these are vital parts of developing strength. Through the tools of journaling, gentle yin yoga, deep breaths and active listening we will soothe our nervous systems in community. No previous experience is needed to participate or benefit from this work, simply an open heart and the understanding that rest is resistance.
After our introductions and community share, we will start with gentle yin yoga to ease into the depths of the body, ending with deep breathing exercises and to round out our time together, we will be led into time to lay and receive healing sound vibration through instruments including crystal singing bowls, the gong and more. Come dressed in warm and comfortable clothing for gentle movement, a journal and any other small tools that may make your experience as comfortable as possible.
Kia is a yoga & meditation instructor, sound practitioner, multi disciplinary artist and Nike Well Collective trainer based in Brooklyn. She is a lover of all things movement, culture, exploration and expression. You can learn more about her and her offerings on instagram @nattykiii

Treat yourself to a healing vibrational experience. Andrea's begins with a short breathing exercise and continues with a Soundbath that is offered with Tibetan singing bowls, gong, bells, quartz pyramid, voice and drums. All you have to do is lie down, get comfy, and relax into this beautiful experience.

A Lucid Dream is a mindful dream; we are mindful of the fact
that we’re dreaming, fully
present within the dream state. This uniquely hybrid state where
the conscious mind
meets the unconscious mind offers incredible potential for
personal, psychological, and
spiritual growth. This course offers an introduction to lucid
dreaming, practices that
build the skills of lucidity, and an introduction to Dream Yoga, in
which we use the dream
for understanding the nature of mind and reality, for the benefit
of others as well as
ourselves.
What You Will Learn:
What is Lucid Dreaming: Gain a foundational understanding of lucid
dreaming
from a historical, scientific, and experiential perspective.
Why Lucid Dream: Explore the benefits of these practices that range
from
psychological healing, creative problem solving, nightmare
integration, PTSD
treatment, inner child work, shadow integration, exploration of the
unconscious,
spiritual practice, working with addiction, imagery rehearsal,
mindfulness training,
and fun.
How to Lucid Dream: Learn practices that will build dream recall,
strengthen
intention, and induce lucid dreams.
Introduction to Dream Yoga: While lucid dreaming has only been
scientifically
proven for ~50 years, Tibetan Buddhists and other indigenous
cultures have
consciously explored the dream state for over 1000 years. Learn
what
differentiates Dream Yoga from Lucid Dreaming and how to engage
with this
advanced practice.
Highlights Include:
Dream Planning: Having a good reason to have a lucid dream is a
powerful
technique in itself; in this activity we will plan out what we want
to do in our
dreams to set proper intention and motivation.
