Join Liz for this 2 hour workshop that integrates the stories of the Bhagavad-Gita, Your OWN story, and Yoga. Together we will explore creative writing as a way to calm the mind by bringing your thoughts to paper. You will be moving through an asana practice, writing propmts, and reading from the Bhagavad-Gita. This event is for anyone who loves yoga and is curious about the stories behind the practice. At the end of the day you will recognize meditation through your words and as well as with your body.
Modern yoga has taken on many new forms, especially in the last year! In this workshop, Erika will take you through the yoga world as it exists in the virtual realm. She will detail the different platforms you can use to spread your yoga teaching not only in your local community, but the ENTIRE world as well. It’s exciting the distance that the internet allows you to travel. And you, yourself, can do this from anywhere you’d like, pending internet access. Not only will you be better prepared to use these online platforms after this workshop, you will also learn how to set up your yoga “studio” to present yourself in a professional, camera-ready manner. Erika will discuss the advantages to teaching yoga online as well as the limitations. The hope is that after this workshop you will feel more educated allowing you to have more options for your journey as a yoga teacher.
