This workshop is for those interested in straps as an apparatus and a way to condition for other aerial apparatuses. We will cover basic positions and ways to work on progressing strength and technique for inversions, one arm tricks including meat hooks and flags.
We will also cover spin techniques and flares. And begin to look at training for roll ups and above the straps technique.
Pre-Requisites: Students do not need prior straps experience although prior experience on another apparatus is recommended. Students should be able to do a bent arm inversion, and able to get upside down without help.

Dance with Juju to get input on choreography, new tricks, or even inspo. If you can't get upside down, no worries — we'll get you there Saturday (check out the workshop!). This jam session is accessible to all levels looking to grow in their movement.
This is a multi-level inversion workshop covering different inversion techniques. It is built to suit all levels, whether you're learning to do your chopper/inverted-V for the first time, need that little extra push to get into a shoulder mount, or want to spring into an Ayesha. This workshop will get you there and teach you how to incorporate these power moves into your own choreography.
Are you ready to get a little bit tippy? Tippy Lyra flips your typical Lyra on its head and then right back again!
