Do you ever notice that subtle shift in the room when a certain someone enters? Maybe the shift is heavy; sometimes it feels bright. Or maybe you’ve noticed an inner shimmer following a yoga class that hit just right, or after seeing your favorite band.
What IS that? Energy.
Kember, an energy work practitioner, has been teaching about and working with the chakras and subtle (energetic) body for over a decade. Each student will be provided with a crystal pendulum (yours to keep!), and given time and instruction on how to utilize this tool to SEE the movement of energy.
You will also dive into the 7 main chakras with an activity to accompany each, as well as play with seeing, feeling, and connecting with energy.

Join Sheila Ewers, E-RYT500, founder of Johns Creek Yoga, Yoga Teacher Trainer at both the 200 and 500 level, and leader of both local and international retreats for a weekend intensive exploring foundational principles of crafting transformative programming.
One of the most powerful ways to deepen a yoga practice is through more immersive experiences than one can gain from daily classes. Workshops and Retreats give you the ability to take your students into more subtle aspects of consciousness and self and are a fulfilling and powerful way for you to share what you love.
In this workshop, you will learn:
Principles of effective multimodal teaching to appeal to kinesthetic, audio and visual learners
Ways to connect students to a communal experience and build sangha
Effective use of dyads and triads
How to create and energetic “arc” for longer programming
The business considerations for leading a retreat
This module is required for students participating in the RYS300 hour program, but is open to all.
This module counts for 18 CEUs approved by Yoga Alliance. (16 contact, 2 non-contact)

Between our Immune System, Vagus Nerve, and Gut-Brain Connection, we can hack our health to feel our best and stay our healthiest all year long! During our time together, we will focus on the things we can control through our diet and lifestyle, learn simple and effective strategies to put in place and take a closer look at the Lymphatic System (which is a key player in the Immune System), along with practicing multiple ways to move lymphatic fluid.
This is a 90-minute workshop. There will be a group discussion, Q&A, followed by an exploration of breathing and self-lymphatic massage techniques. All are welcome!
