Step into an intimate 60-minute Sound Bath experience designed to gently guide you out of the noise of everyday life and back into a state of deep calm and balance.

We’ll begin with simple, grounding breathwork to help you arrive fully in your body. From there, you’ll be immersed in a carefully layered sound journey featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other soothing instruments. These vibrations aren’t just beautiful—they work on a subtle, physical level to help regulate the nervous system, quiet mental chatter, and encourage the body to shift into a deeply restorative state.

As the sounds move through you, tension begins to melt, the mind softens, and the body unwinds in ways that can feel both profound and effortless. It’s like a reset button—for your energy, your mood, and your entire system.

This experience is especially supportive if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, overstimulated, or simply in need of a pause. You’ll be held in a calm, supportive environment where there’s nothing to do but rest and receive.

You can expect to leave feeling:

– mentally clear and refreshed
– more balanced in your nervous system
– lighter, calmer, and more at ease in your body

Let’s take our yoga practice into nature. Join Jiasong for an afternoon that blends PNW exploration with mindful movement. Grab your mat and a backpack - we’re heading to the Samish Crest Overlook, a hidden gem that offers some of the most iconic views in the region. After a refreshing trek through lush, vibrant forests, we’ll emerge at the summit to find a panoramic backdrop of Bellingham and the shimmering Bellingham Bay. Jiasong will guide us for a pleasant 3 mile round trip, invigorating climb through towering evergreens - perfect for getting the heart rate up before we settle in. An hour-long outdoor yoga session designed for all levels. Breathe in the crisp air and stretch under the open sky with unrivaled vistas of the city, the islands, and the Salish Sea. Spaces are limited to 10 participants to keep the vibe intimate and peaceful. Don't miss the chance to join us for yoga from a whole new perspective and enjoy a special Flux community adventure.

 

What to bring:

  • Yoga mat that you don't mind getting dirty as it is on dirt (strapped to or inside your pack)

  • Water bottle (at least 1 liter)

  • Snacks (nuts, fruit, energy bars, etc.)

  • Sturdy hiking shoes or sneakers with good grip

  • Weather-appropriate layers (it can get breezy at the overlook)

  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, hat (optional)

  • Bug repellant

 

Meeting spot: Samish Crest Trail Trailhead at 700 Racine St, Bellingham, WA 98229. Carpooling is encouraged as there is limited street parking - we can send out a message ahead to help arrange carpools. In case of prohibitive weather like extreme rain date: June 20.

  • Have practiced yoga or meditation for at least 3 months
  • Be free of debilitating injury or illness at the start of training
  • Commit to 100% attendance
  • Be open to embodied and experiential learning
  • Hold a radical commitment to personal growth and self-inquiry
