Join Roselyn for a workshop focussed on exploring modifications and progressions for all levels of yoga backbend practicioners. Learn safe, effective strategies for increasing spinal flexiblity, and discover the physical and mental benefits including backbends in your yoga practice.
This workshop will include a vinyasa flow-style sequence designed to open the heart, explore the concept of vulnerability and prepare the body for more advanced backbending. The use of props, variations, and modifications will also be included, so everyone can cultivate a rewarding backbend practice of their own.
THIS WORKSHOP IS GREAT FOR: all levels of yoga practicioners
NOT SUITABLE FOR: those with active, acute back injuries
MAY NOT BE SUITABLE FOR: those with a history of spinal surgery or bulging/herniated discs; please speak with instructor prior to registering for this workshop
