In this 2 hour workshop, you will be guided in a practice that integrates self massage & self-myofascial release, breath work, and restorative yoga to guide you into a state of deep relaxation and energetic release. The first portion of class will consist of a short, intentional and accessible open levels flow and self myofascial release work on tennis balls or yoga tune up therapy balls to cultivate greater freedom in the body and a deepened mind-body connection.
With this enhanced mind-body connection, you will then be guided through simple and grounding breath work and restorative yoga where all poses are held passively while the body is fully supported by props to invite full release and deep rest by accessing the parasympathetic nervous system and the ‘relaxation response’. You will leave feeling connected, grounded, and rejuvenated. All levels are welcome!
