6-Week Continuing Beginner Series - The Unwinding Path of Neural Integration to Wholeness (W)

This Series is for Beginners with a little bit of experience (or equivalent)

This series picks up where our Beginner I (Raw Beginner) series left off. You do not need to have completed our Beginner I Series to attend this series, but you should be able to practice basic poses with no risk of injury. Our focus will be on building yoga skills rather than doing a fast paced practice. Our pace will be medium to slow and build skills from the ground up. 

The Unwinding Path is a 6-week yoga series that meets you where you are and gently leads you toward nervous system integration through movement, breath, and body-based awareness. Designed for beginners and those seeking a trauma-informed, somatic approach, this series moves slowly—building resilience, safety, and attunement along the way.

Each class includes:

  • Gentle yoga poses (asana) focused on grounding, mobility, and awareness

  • Breathwork (pranayama) to regulate and balance the nervous system

  • Explorations of vagal tone, grounding, and interoception

  • Guided rest, down-regulation, and introductions to neurogenic tremors (in late sessions)—the body’s innate release response that helps reduce stored tension or trauma

You’ll learn:

  • Breath techniques to calm, energize, or balance your system

  • How gentle, conscious movement can restore rather than deplete

  • How to allow tremors to arise safely as part of the body's natural unwinding process

This series is ideal for:

  • Beginners looking for a slow, body-aware introduction to neurogenic yoga

  • Anyone curious about the nervous system, breath, and embodied healing

  • People recovering from burnout, stress, or feeling disconnected from the body

Note: Neurogenic tremors are introduced safely, optionally, and progressively, with full consent and regulation techniques taught beforehand. No experience is necessary, and participation is always at your own pace.

This class will prepare you for more in this same series.

Enough of which will prepare you to take any yoga class you like in safety and excellence.
