Spring Women’s Temple
Join us as we celebrate the arrival of spring and invoke the divine Goddess Saraswati. Saraswati is the goddess of art, music, creativity, insight, teaching and learning. She corresponds with the Vishuddha or throat chakra, where we find our voice and express our truth. She is celebrated in the springtime when nature is pulsing with creativity. Her name translates as “one who flows” and “the essence of self”. She helps bring into form that which is not yet manifest. Saraswati will help us tap into the realm of intuition where ideas are formed or lying dormant. Through chant, meditation, journaling, movement, and a special ceremony we will stoke the intuitive fire and bring forth the unmanifested. We will celebrate our creativity and let flow our expression like the river flowing to meet the ocean. Om aim hrim saraswatyai namaha.
