Yoga Basics and Beyond is the perfect workshop if you're new to yoga or an experienced student who wants to revisit the basics and explore ways to deepen your practice. Learn the fundamentals of yoga poses, including alignment and breathwork.
You will kick off the workshop by covering the basic principles of yoga, emphasizing the importance of establishing a breathing practice and connecting the breath to the movement.
We will explain common yoga terminology, break down postures of sun salutations, explore balancing poses. You will get helpful feedback on how to build the foundation of your practice.
Bring a mat if you have one. We have plenty if you don't.Wear comfortable exercise clothes and leave your shoes at the studio door.
Come prepared to have fun and learn something new about yourself.
This workshop is suitable for the new yogi but is open to all, even the most advanced practitioner.
