This workshop will begin with an extended practice consisting of
asana, pranayama, and
meditation. After practice, we will sit for a discussion about the
role of breath and meditation
in Yoga, and the various techniques that you can use in your
personal practice and with your
students. We’ll explore common myths about meditation, how to sit
properly for pranayama,
what the sacred texts say about these practices, and how to adapt
them for modern times.
