$30 per session! You do not need to sign up for all sessions! This series is perfect for someone who wants to learn yoga for the first time or someone who would like a refresher on specific types of poses such as breath work, open/closed hip postures, forward bends, twists, backends, balances, inverted poses and sun salutations. In each workshop session, you will learn specific poses in a more in-depth, supportive, interactive atmosphere. You will also get the chance to learn how props can provide support during poses. At the end of the series, you should feel confident that you have a solid understanding of some of the standard poses that are common in yoga classes. The beginner’s yoga workshop series will be run the first of every Sunday evening (4-5:15pm) for 8 months starting January 7th through September 1st. You can jump in an any point in the series.
January 7 - This workshop series will focus on diaphragmatic breathing and pelvic awareness

July - break for July 4th weekend

September 1 - This workshop series will focus on reviewing sun salutations
Somatic Breathwork™ is a full embodiment experience designed to help you release stress, trauma, emotions and stored energy from the body. It is a modality that utilizes your own breath to help shed the layers of yourself that no longer serve you. Somatic Breathwork™ uses a circular diaphragmatic breath to tap into your body's innate inner intelligence to find the areas that need clearing. The journey is divided into two phases. A clearing phase to create space and release and a repattering phase to call in what is desired and to connect to the emotions and feelings we want to cultivate in our lives.
Somatic Breathwork™ is an inward journey. The group will be guided through cues and breath to look at the parts within that aren't balanced, the areas in the body where tension, stress and limiation resides. Through a cleansing and repatterning phase the whole body will be reset and restored through breath, allowing the participants to feel deeply grounded, at ease, energized and centered by the end of the session.

This 6 week program combines physical activity, mindfulness, and creativity in a welcoming and safe environment. Each class begins with ice breakers and silly games, creating a sense of community and excitement. Children then delve into breathwork and a yoga flow, where they build strength, flexibility, and emotional awareness. The program finishes with guided meditation and a craft activity, reinforcing mindfulness and allowing kids to express their creativity. Join us for a well-rounded and enjoyable summer program that nurtures your child's physical and mental well-being!
This program is best suited for ages 6-9 and runs Tuesdays from July 9th-August 20th, skipping August 6th. The cost is $180 for all 6 sessions, but register before June 16th and receive a $30 discount on tuition!
