Tai Chi / Qi Gong

Gentle Tai Chi and Qi Gong is offered in a one hour guided practice with instruction. Particular attention will be paid to deep breathing and connecting our mind, body and spirit.

Tai Chi relaxes the mind and the body, promotes inner strength, improves balance and coordination, tones, strengthens, and increases muscle and joint flexibility, all while being very low impact. Tai Chi and Qi Gong are simple yet powerful methods for maximizing one's personal and professional potential and can be important components of our own self-care. Tai Chi students have reported a reduction in stress, increased creativity and productivity, ability to remain centered, focused, and calm in personal and professional settings, and a greater understanding of how our presence influences others.
