If you are looking for a safe place to ‘try on’ yoga, or wanting to explore the basics of yoga in a safe place, then these classes are for you.

Learn the basics, for the first time or again, with people in a similar place. Each class will explore a gentle yoga flow where you will be encouraged to listen to your body to make adjustments that help release energy that has become stagnant. All props are provided. Options will be offered to meet you wherever you are at and suggestions for taking the practice within you. Do you feel like there are times when it’s difficult to breathe?
Would you like to experience both the spiritual and physical aspects of yoga?
Have you wanted to try yoga, but feel anxious because you won’t know the postures?
If you responded YES to any of these questions, this 4-part introduction to Kundalini yoga is for you!

Kundalini yoga is a technology that combines Breath, Movement, Sound, and Meditation to support the physical, mental and spiritual living. This form of yoga is also known as “householder” yoga. It was developed thousands of years ago for the “working person” instead of the professional yogi. Exercises are combined to create and move energy to specific targets throughout the body. You will feel different after your first Kundalini yoga experience.

Over 4 weeks we will explore the following through simple Kundalini yoga sets and meditations:
- Learn how to breathe (correctly!) and how breath can be used to control your nervous system
- Discover your body locks and how you can control energy flow within your body
- Experience different ways of meditating and find an approach that works best for you

The research is clear: Putting clearly defined goals down on paper is the biggest difference maker between having big ideas, and having significant accomplishments.

For many this has been a work driven exercise, as businesses long ago realized the value of the practice. Yet, the practice can have profound effects on personal matters as well.

What are your career goals, aside of those of your company’s?
How about your ideals for your health, personal finances, and relationships?
Do you know what you want clearly enough to give yourself a chance of getting it?

Getting to know this is life’s great adventure, and most find, a journey best enjoyed with a partner. So bring yours, and come as a team, to clarify your goals and work together on creating a visual representation of these to keep as a reminder. I will guide you through a process of organizing your thoughts (and maybe some crazy dreams) onto a board using materials you harvest from available magazines. You are welcome to bring images of your own and freelance as you will. Just come and have fun, while building a roadmap for the future for each, and both of you.

Invest in your future by setting some time aside to create a vision you both feel inspired to follow in the coming months!
