What is True Health?

In Zhineng Qigong philosophy, true health is not merely the absence of disease but encompasses a holistic state of well-being including physical, mental, and spiritual aspects. True health is achieved when there is a harmonious balance and free flow of Qi (vital energy) throughout the body, mind, and spirit. This balance ensures that all systems within the body function optimally, promoting vitality, resilience, and longevity.

The 3 Pillars of Health

The first pillar focuses on achieving comprehensive harmony in both internal and external relationships. This entails the complete opening of one’s heart and mind to achieve balance across all aspects of life, fostering a state of equilibrium and inter-connectedness.

The second pillar revolves around the cultivation of a resilient brain and nervous system. Through strengthening and nourishing the functions of the brain and spinal cord, genuine physical health is fostered, enabling optimal functioning of the body and mind.

The third pillar underscores the cultivation of healthy thoughts through a poised mindset. This involves guiding the mind away from external disturbances and distractions towards inner perception, leading to a state of tranquility and stability in thoughts and emotions.
