Yoga 101 is a 4-week series at Pulsation Yoga, and is meant to help students learn the basics of yoga poses, language and alignments. This series is a great way for beginner students to start yoga and learn from the ground up. It is also a great opportunity for seasoned practitioners to delve into details and refine their practice. In any case, this 4-week series will give you the knowledge and confidence you need to walk into any yoga class and feel successful.
This next series takes place in Lake Zurich with Cary, Saturdays April 4, 11, 18 and 25, 12:15-1:15.
Dr. Serena Kleinstub, DC, will walk you through the most common bones, muscles and tendons used in yoga classes. She will break down the details of their importance, how they work together, and how you can protect them. Experienced yoga instructors will then take you through the poses in which they are most commonly used.
This is an important workshop for yoga instructors or trainees, as well as students who want to understand the anatomy behind yoga.
