This is time designed for YOU. Emily will skillfully guide you through a crafted sequence of yoga poses, meditation practices and breathing techniques that will provide an ultimate self-care experience. Learn ways to experience “stillness” during times of flurry. You will leave this workshop with tips and tools to practice anytime. Your body, mind and spirit will thank you for this gift!
The deep rest brought on by
restorative yoga has
benefits for all the systems of the
body, especially the
nervous system. The change in
seasons, the end of
Daylight Savings Time, and the
collective stress we've
experienced the last few years all
affect our nervous
systems.
Often we don't realize these effects
until our nervous
system is in overdrive. This can look
like:
• Digestive problems
• Easily upset,
moodiness
• Sleep problems
• Muscle tension
• Fatigue, exhaustion
• High blood pressure
• Shallow breathing
• Metabolic disorders
This 2-hour workshop will include a
full restorative
yoga practice and a brief discussion
of the nervous
system.
