UNIVERSITY NIGHT Dance Party! Join us for a night of West Coast Swing, Country Swing, and Line Dance social dancing including an Introductory dance class for beginners! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! (You don't need to be a Uni student to attend.)
Uni students use code UNI_NIGHT to register for FREE -- must present student ID at the door.

8:00 - 9:00 pm
- Introductory Dance Class - This will be a beginner-friendly class designed to get you moving on the dance floor. Dance style will rotate between West Coast Swing, Country Swing, and Line Dance. All are welcome. Bring your friends!
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm
- Social Dance Party - dance the night away!
Fall Semester West Coast Swing Youth Performance Team. This class is suitable for all-leves of dancer, including brand new dancers. Students must be enrolled in a weekly class (either Juniors WCS or Teens WCS).
Enrolment is open until the third week of the semester.
Students will learn a group choreography to be performed at our Year-End Show on Friday December 19th, with the option to continue with the team until February 7th for an additional performance at the Waterloo Ontario Open West Coast Swing Championships. Costume fee is included in enrolment fee (no extra fees to pay).
Age range: 9-17

Critique Session: You will be randomly partnered and dance in a spotlight-style (i.e. by yourself) in front of the rest of the group and the instructor. After your dance, the instructor will provide constructive critique of you dance to help you improve. Depending on the timing, number of registrants, and the instructor's personal critique style, you may dance more than once.
Critique sessions are a great way to get personalized feedback on your dancing, and learn from what other's are working on!

Intermediate Workshop:

We are offering an intermediate workshop prior to the all-levels workshops. This workshop is intended for Competition Intermediate Level dancers. It will be strictly restricted to meeting a minimum of ONE the following requirements:
- Have been dancing WCS for at least 2.5 years; OR
- Have completed at least 80 hours of WCS group instruction or 25 hours of WCS private instruction; OR
- Have a minimum 6 Novice competition points.
Cost:
- $60+HST per individual workshop
- $130+HST for the afternoon workshops (all-levels) & Dance Party
- $155+HST for all workshops (Intermediate + all-levels) & Dance Party
- $20+HST Dance Party only
