Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra or “yogic sleep” is a form of deep transformational meditation. All that is required of you is to lie down, get comfortable, and listen. The Yoga Nidra practice, along with a gentle Yin Yoga practice, will bring relaxation and peace to each and every part of you.
***This practice will be done in a comfortable room temperature environment. Wear your comfy clothes (pajamas welcome!) and bring any props you would like such as a bolster, blocks, blanket and/or a pillow. ***
New Year's Eve is the night you set your intentions for the year. Not your resolutions, but your intentions -- how you wish to live and interact with the world in 2025. A slow, steady, reconnecting with your inner self through waves of gong sound will start you off on the right track for calling forth your deepest intentions (sankalpa). Then, slide into the world of relinquishing, and allow the expansive and transformative magic of the gongs to seal your intentions into your cells.
What is a Gong Bath? The gong is one of the world’s oldest and most healing instruments. A multi-instrumental Gong Bath uses gongs, singing bowls, flutes, vocals and drums to merge performance and sound therapy into a deeply relaxing meditation. Instruments are played around the audience, who relax on mats or chairs to receive the sound. Participants are led in gentle yoga stretches and grounding at session’s end.
Benefits often include: relief of pain and stress, a general feeling of being refreshed in your body, mind and spirit!
Bring what you need to be comfortable on the floor – chair, mat, pillow, blanket, pad, stuffed animals, crystals, whatever makes you happy. Bring water to hydrate yourself. Gong bathing is thirsty work!

BARBARA BARLOW is a 200hr registered yoga teacher, offering classes in MA. She is a Vibrational Sound Therapy Certified and Licensed Practitioner, USUI/Holy Fire III Reiki Practitioner and Sound Healing Practitioner.

Classes are open to all fitness levels, from beginners to enthusiasts. Whether you’ve practiced for decades or you’re stepping on a yoga mat for the very first time, we’ll make sure that your needs are met.
