What do you do in a sound bath?
What to expect during a sound bath. Most sound bath programs last 60 minutes- anymore won't be as effective. You will hear and experience various instruments — gongs, chimes, tuning forks, singing bowls — to facilitate meditation, relaxation and, ultimately, healing. Most people feel an overall sense of relaxation.
Take this time to relax and heal your inner self. You will feel calm, you’re going to feel centered and you're going to feel balanced. You’re also going to feel uplifted as you connect with your own positive energy. Music therapy can reduce stress and promote relaxation.
 
Some of the benefits of sound therapy include:
lower stress levels.
fewer mood swings.
lower blood pressure.
lower cholesterol.
improved sleep.
 
What do you wear to a sound bath?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and – as you will be lying still for an hour in a sleep-like trance – something warm. Yoga casuals, cashmere pashminas or sweat pants. BE Comfortable!
 
Enjoy and imagine setting yourself up in a restful, relaxing position with bolsters and blankets. Then sinking your entire body into the healing sounds of the Chakras.
