Summer Solstice is a wonderful time to take a break from the norm and try something new! This workshop will be led by Katrina Cantu. She will introduce you to Kriya yoga in this class. Kriya yoga is an ancient type of meditation technique. When practiced, it is meant to rapidly accelerate one’s spiritual progress. The change of seasons calls for a change in perspective. This class will help to clear away any blockages or obstacles you may be experiencing, and open your body, heart, and mind to a level of awareness you may have not experienced before. Kriya yoga involves physical movement, breath practices, and chanting. The time together on our mats can be transformative, as we walk out into our lives after class we may see the efforts of our practice unfolding in our daily lives. Be curious, step out of your comfort zone, and be the change you wish to see.
Bring your mat, a journal, and something to place on the altar (if you would like).
Katrina & Shaunna, will host space for a community to gather for the Moon Circle. The gathering will include discussion, journaling, movement, dance, cacao/tea ceremony and sound healing! Open to all ages, genders and abilities. This is a CLOSED CONTAINER, meaning you must arrive by 6:30 to participate in the MOON RITUAL; sharing, journaling, cacao, discussion, sound healing, and sacred dance. If you attend this portion you are welcome to stay for the Ecstatic Dance that follows!
Every Moon Phase is different and invites us to look at ourselves from a different perspective as we journey on the path to continue our growth.
Feel free to bring any offerings or special objects to place on our collective altar and bring a small item to share for the potluck if you like!
This will be a sliding scale event for $11-77.

This Workshop is designed to return you to your Highest Self. Katrina will lead you through Himalayan Breathwork, and take you into a long savasana where she will bathe you in the sounds of singing bowls and a GONG. Moving your brain waves from Beta (high energy waves associated with stress, anxiety, and worry) to Theta (between awake and asleep, subconscious mind, deep relaxation, and inner peace). This process is calming, and restful, and can aid in healing. Come with an open mind, heart, and cozy wear to settle in for an experience that will leave you feeling nourished and tranquil.
