Suniai Soundbath
Jul 7, 2019 - Jul 7, 2019

Instruments that create certain frequencies can help reduce stress, eliminate negativity, and bring healing to the body and mind. We invite you to join us for an evening of listening and relaxation, influencing our own inner frequency to positively impact the entirety of our beings. When we are functioning at our optimal vibrational frequency, we are healthy and happy. Come tune your body through the healing power of sound.

Come experience the immense power of sound and receive the amazing benefits that arise from bathing in the healing resonance of the waves.

This is a lying down experience. Bring an open mind, an open heart, a yoga mat, pillow, blanket, eye cover etc; anything that makes you comfortable and cozy.

Important: Due to the nature of this event, arrive at least 15 minutes early to set up your space. The doors will close at starting time. No one will be admitted once the Sound Bath begins.

What is a Soundbath?

A Soundbath is an acoustic meditative experience. A variety of ancient healing instruments provide waves of vibration to promote relaxation and self-healing. Through these sound frequencies, our physical, emotional, and mental states of wellbeing are affected. Soundbaths create a space in which the body and mind can release negative feelings and emotions. The vibrations from the gongs permeate the body, positively impacting the nervous system and clearing the subconscious mind. The crystal bowls send waves of sound through our energy centers, creating balance and harmony throughout our being. Numerous other instruments are utilized as well, to generate an immersive experience that will leave you feeling relaxed, rejuvenated, and more aware.

Some benefits of Soundbaths include the following:

  • Release emotional trauma
  • Relieves physical pain
  • Balances emotions
  • Unlocks emotional blocks
  • Promotes deep meditation and relaxation
  • Improves focus
  • Heightens concentration
  • Improves mood
  • Regulates blood pressure
  • Recalibrates the body’s energy centers
  • Relieves stress

Restorative TOUCH with Ginger, Rae, & Chef Tiffany
Jul 21, 2019 - Jul 21, 2019

“If you get the inside right, the outside will fall into place.”

Our inner balance is also affected by external factors - being a part of nature, we’re also influenced by the way it shifts and changes. And, just like nature we can benefit from noticing and adjusting our rhythms. By slowing down.

Restorative yoga is like a human reset button - it activates the relaxation response in our minds and bodies. It’s an embodied meditation that creates relaxation “from the inside out", calms the mind, balances the nervous system, relieves anxiety, and improves your body’s natural capacity to heal.

The intention for this workshop is to help you ground, center, and relax as we move thru the busyness of the summer season. We’ll slow down in stillness within the poses, move through breath work and gentle transitions, then deeply relax at the end with a double assist (four hands on you at once) savasana and guided meditation. Tasty treats by Chef Tiffany will be provided after class.

Bring Your Whole Self to the Party! The Science and Spirit of Meditation
Jul 28, 2019 - Jul 28, 2019

When we bring knowledge, breath, and conscious awareness to the subtle and energetic bodies, we integrate mind and body and gain greater access to our whole selves. The outcome is more energy, more creativity and more flow. Everything gets easier.

In this experiential workshop, you will learn to work with the vast and potent field of energy that is you. The afternoon includes breath work, the science of meditation, spiritual wisdom, universal principles, and guided meditation.

Meditation is a powerful way to support ourselves to be ourselves. When we come together in the intentional community of a workshop, we generate a meditative field that encourages and enhances our practice. The support grows exponentially.

Elizabeth shares the wisdom of her practice and the insights of her teachers to offer a unique meditative experience. Whether you are a long-time practitioner, wanting to start a practice, or a skeptic, this workshop is for you.

Elizabeth Philipose has been on a meditative path for fifteen years. She completed a four-year program in the frequency of meditation, and four levels of training in bioenergetics, breath work, and embodiment. She has a daily practice and retreats several times a year. Her style is unique, eclectic and highly attuned to subtle body energy; transcendent and embodied, spiritual and scientific, multidimensional and accessible. She offers knowledge that brings the mind into alignment with energy bodies and connects us to our authentic, masterful self. Besides teaching meditation, she has twenty years of classroom experience as an international politics professor.
