Emam & Mahalakshmi Return to RVY
They joined us last year, and it was truly magical. The room was full, the singing was strong, and the evening lingered in our hearts long after the last chant. We are so grateful to welcome them back.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of vibrant world music and uplifting Kirtan with Emam & Mahalakshmi, visiting from Goa, India. This is more than a concert — it is a shared experience of devotion, rhythm, and community connection.

-
Included in the Namaste Membership. *A token gratuity for the musicians is encouraged to support their travels and dedication to spreading the kirtan world-wide

If the sliding scale feels out of reach, please reach out — we want this evening to be accessible.
After the music, we’ll
gather for a community
vegetarian potluck.
Bring a dish
or sweets to share if you’d like — or simply come as you are.
You’re also welcome to bring a non-perishable item for the Ashland
Food Bank.
Come ready to sing, move, listen, or simply soak in the beauty of the evening. These gatherings remind us what it feels like to root into love and rise together.
RSVPs are deeply appreciated so we can prepare the space and food accordingly. Payment can be made in person or online.
We cannot wait to share this night with you again. ✨

Mahalakshmi

https://eternalmusic.com/<wbr />Mahalakshmi_bio.htm
Mahalakshmi is a singer, composer, music producer, and
sound yogini. She began her spiritual journey through music, first
training in Western flute and later finding a doorway to the soul
via songwriting. Mahalakshmi's experience with the flute informs
her vocal style, creating a unique and soothing sound. While she is
largely self-taught with regard to vocals, piano, and songwriting,
Mahalakshmi has received guidance in Indian classical music from
Ustad Chhote Rahimat Khan, Geetika
Varde, and her husband and music partner,
Emam. She and Emam perform original world
fusion music in their ensemble 'MahaMaya Band',
which bridges Indian Classical with rock and jazz. The duo can also
be found leading Kirtan groups with their band 'Rhythm
& Mantra".
She and Emam
currently live in Goa (India) for most of the
year.
