Rolf Movement™ Workshop
Nov 10, 2024 - Nov 10, 2024

Want some new self care ideas to add to your routine? Rolf Movement is a gentle movement class designed to ease your muscles and joints and get rid of pain and discomfort. Participants are guided through slow, intentional movements which allow you to move with ease and feel better. You will leave this class feeling lighter and more mobile.

When your muscles and joints move efficiently, you conserve more energy and have less pain and inflammation build up in your body. These movements can be repeated at home any time you feel tension or pain building up, or if you feel you need a little more energy to help get through your day.

You will be amazed at how easy it is to feel good again!

Virtual Empowerment Protocol (4 week series) Virtual
Jan 12, 2025 - Feb 2, 2025

***This is a Virtual Series***

As we process trauma through the mind, we must process it through the body.

Whether we’ve been in a vehicle accident, lost a loved one, or anything in between, our body keeps the score. Our nervous system is wired like branches of tree. And when we experience a traumatic event, those branches get pruned.

But those branches can regrow, and that’s what we focus on with our Empowerment Protocols. By using these evidence-based techniques that have been thoroughly tested and peer reviewed, we offer self-regulation techniques that help each client process trauma through the body.

Over this 4-week series, Lindsey will be guiding you through classroom instruction to help you understand the biomechanics of trauma, educating you on how your brain and nervous system responds to various events. From there, she will guide you through movement techniques and meditative practices that help integrate the trauma helping you to calm the nervous system and move past blockages that may have been holding you back.

This is an excellent compliment to any talk therapy that someone may be engaged in, but just know that you do not have to talk about any traumatic experience or share any personal details about your life in this series.

One month of unlimited yoga included in your purchase!

If you purchase this series, you will also be given an unlimited yoga membership to Sanford Yoga & Community Center for the duration of this series allowing you to take as many yoga classes as you would like during these four weeks.

Empowerment Protocol (4 week series)
Jan 16, 2025 - Feb 6, 2025

As we process trauma through the mind, we must process it through the body.

This is an excellent compliment to any talk therapy that someone may be engaged in, but just know that you do not have to talk about any traumatic experience or share any personal details about your life in this series. This series is designed to give you a whole new set of tools that you can plug and play in real time in your life to create the conditions for healing by linking your body to your mind.

These protocols are wildly effective and are based on the clinical research of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk (Author of The Body Keeps the Score), Dr. Richard Miller (Author of The iRest Program for Healing PTSD, and many other books and clinical research), Dr. Ida Rolf (Biochemist and founder of Structural Integration protocols now called Rolfing in her honor), Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn (Author of Full Catastrophe Living and creator of the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School), Dr. Bruce D. Perry & Maia Szalavitz (Authors of The Boy Who Was Raised as a Dog) and many other fantastic clinicians who have dedicated their lives to the research and data collection of how trauma needs to be processed through the body.
