Beginner Workshop Series - Winter 2022

This Beginner Workshop Series is designed to meet the needs of those who are new to yoga or those who want to get back to basics. In a light-hearted and supportive atmosphere, this four-week series will explore the fundamentals of yoga, including: safe alignment for foundational poses, different breathing techniques, connecting breath to movement, utilizing props and modifications, relaxation techniques, discussion of mindfulness, honoring the body, and intro to yoga philosophy.

Led by Gretchen Allen, she encourages students to remember flexibility is not a requirement, it is an outcome. Practice compassion for self in your practice and offer that to others.
