SHINE POWER YOGA — YIN TRAINING 2026
Deepen your understanding of Yin Yoga with our 3-Day Yin Training at SHINE Power Yoga. This course is designed to be accessible and easy to fit into your schedule, meeting one day per week for three weeks.
Unlike a full Yoga Teacher Training (YTT), which covers many styles and the broad foundations of teaching yoga, this course is specifically focused on Yin Yoga. It allows us to go deeper into the theory, anatomy, philosophy, and sequencing unique to Yin, giving participants a more detailed understanding of this slow, meditative practice.
You do not need to already be a yoga teacher to participate. This training is open to anyone who wants to deepen their personal practice, expand their knowledge of Yin Yoga, or explore teaching.
Dates:
Saturdays — April 18, April 25 & May 2

Participants will receive a SHINE Yin Training Workbook to support learning during the course and to use as an ongoing resource.
Spring into Sound 🌱✨
Step into the energy of the season and awaken something new within you.
Join Darien for a 60-minute Power Vinyasa flow inspired by Spring—a time of growth, renewal, and transformation. This practice is designed to shake off stagnation, build heat, and create space for what’s ready to emerge. Through intentional breath and movement, you’ll move energy through the body, inviting clarity, expansion, and possibility.
As the physical practice softens, you’ll be guided into a 15-minute crystal sound bath meditation. Let the vibrations of the bowls wash over you, helping to integrate your practice, realign your energy, and ground your intentions for the season ahead.
This is your opportunity to reset, reconnect, and plant the seeds for what you want to grow.
Come as you are. Leave feeling clear, open, and aligned with your Spring intentions. 🌸
Spots are limited!
Sink into stillness, soften into spaciousness, and give your body the nourishment it craves as the year comes to a close. This special two-hour Yin practice is designed to help you unwind deeply, reset your nervous system, and reconnect with yourself on a profound level.
Yin Yoga works gently yet
powerfully through passive,
longer-held postures that target the deepest layers of the
body — the connective
tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, fascia, and the
energetic meridian
pathways.
Unlike a Yang-style practice like Vinyasa, which activates and
strengthens muscles, Yin invites you to settle, surrender, and
listen.
Benefits of this practice
include:
• Improved mobility and joint health
• Hydration and elasticity of connective tissues
• Balanced chi flow through the organs
• Deep nervous system regulation
• Emotional release and mental clarity
This is your invitation to slow down, breathe deeper, and end the year with intention.
Reserve your spot — this event will fill!
Join Kelly on Thursday, April 30th for a special one night event designed to balance your seven Chakras. We will begin with a short five minute Bija Mantra Meditation. Afterwards, participants will make their way into Savasana position where you will be comfortably guided through a Chakra balancing meditation, infused with healing Reiki energy. To seal the practice you will then be whisked away on a sound journey to the tune of crystal singing bowls, rainstick and wind chimes. You will leave the studio feeling relaxed and balanced. To experience this transformative journey all you need to do is lie comfortably on your mat.
BYO mat, dress comfortably and feel free to bring anything that will make you feel more comfortable (ex. light blanket, eye mask, bolster for under your knees).
Kelly traveled to Sedona, Arizona in 2024 and 2025 for her Reiki and Chakra Balancing certifications and is excited to share this immersive experience with you.
Nature to Nurture 🌿☀️
Nature to Nurture is an invitation to slow down, step outside, and reconnect...both with the natural world and with yourself.
Led by John, this experience blends mindful movement, breath, and intentional time in nature, beginning with a guided one-hour hike designed to ground the body and clear the mind.
With the warmth and brightness of May, expect fresh air, blooming landscapes, and a natural energy that supports renewal and expansion. The hike will move at an accessible, steady pace, allowing space to breathe deeply, take in your surroundings, and settle into the rhythm of walking outdoors. (The exact location will be shared prior to the event.)
After the hike, we’ll return to the Medford studio for intentional movement inspired by nature—supporting the body in opening, softening, and releasing. This portion of the experience is designed to help the nervous system unwind while integrating the energy of the outdoors back into the body.
Expect moments of stillness, reflection, and presence. This is not about performance or pushing, but about restoring balance, connection, and ease.
Whether you’re craving sunshine, movement, mental clarity, or a deeper sense of grounding, Nature to Nurture offers time to move, breathe, and simply be.
Come as you are, dress for the warmth and shifting spring weather, and leave feeling refreshed, supported, and deeply reconnected—to yourself and the world around you. 🌸🍃
