We start all of our students low to the ground and focus on strength and control. As they build up endurance, maturity, and body awareness they can advance through the different levels of skills. So come join Tanvi Sahajpal, LCSW, RYT on Jan 26th and Feb 23rd for this two part series (come to one or both) and learn ways to kickstart this New Year right!

Meditation is the art of looking inside and discovering one’s own inner being. It leads us not only to totally new inner experiences, but helps us also to transform our day-to-day life into a better, more meaningful and more fulfilling existence. Guided Meditation is an experience in that you are lead through specific focuses in which to center your concentration. Results vary but many tribute guided meditation to improved sleep, focus, concentration, energy and clarity.

Full Moon Candle Light Yoga Practice
Bowing to the Soothing Moonlight: Chandra Namaskar

Many are familiar with Surya Namaskar a.k.a. Sun Salutations - A sequence of poses with movement toward a fiery practice to build strength and bowing to the sun.

Thankfully there is Yin & Yang in all things. Chandra Namaskar a.k.a. Moon Salutations - a sequence of soothing poses done with slower movement bowing to the moon. During this cooler practice you can begin to relieve stress when feeling over stimulated from your everyday routine, finding balance. Both Meditation and Paranayama (breath) practices are offered allowing your mind space to begin to relax. You'll leave with your inner glow rejuvenated.

Join Gao for a hands-on class where you'll learn how to utilize the technique of self-myofascial release using this simple tool. She'll guide you through a series of movements which will alllow for soft tissue release; aiding in muscle recovery, preventing injury and improving range of motion.
