Course Objectives: To learn the science behind and explore various forms of meditation in an easy to follow, bite-size practice format. Learn which meditative practice(s) are best for you, in this moment of your life.
Science tells us that as little as 10 minutes of daily meditation practice can provide brain changing benefits. Sifu Chris will introduce the science and various practices in an easy to follow format allowing you to determine which practice serves you best at this moment in your life.
Together, you will explore many forms of meditative practice, formal, informal, short, long, lying down, sitting, standing and walking all in managable, bite-sized increments. After each practice, each person will offer perspectives on what was good or challenigng for them as a way for us each to learn and grow in our understanding.
