Tuning Forks 101
Feb 28, 2026 - Feb 28, 2026

Who This Is For

This workshop is for you if:

  • You’re curious about tuning forks and want to learn how to use weighted tuning forks in a practical, embodied way

  • You want to feel comfortable and confident using tuning forks on yourself and with friends or family

  • You’re a bodyworker, massage therapist, energy practitioner, or wellness provider interested in integrating weighted tuning forks into your existing work

  • You enjoy learning through direct experience and guided practice, not just theory

  • You value a small-group, supportive environment with space for questions, sensing, and integration

No prior experience with tuning forks is required.

Who This Is Not For

This workshop may not be the best fit if:

  • You are looking for a formal certification or standardized curriculum

  • You prefer a rigid, pre-scripted training with no room to respond to the group

  • You’re expecting the workshop to be purely lecture-based or theoretical

  • You’re uncomfortable with optional, consent-based partner practice

While this is an introductory workshop, the depth of material may naturally vary based on the experience, curiosity, and embodiment of the group. Advanced insights or techniques may emerge organically, but the focus will remain on safe, grounded, and practical application.

Important Considerations

Please read through the following before attending Tuning Forks 101.

This Is an Educational Workshop

This workshop is designed for learning, exploration, and hands-on practice. It is not a medical treatment, diagnostic service, or substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

Choice, Consent & Personal Responsibility

All exercises are choice-based. You are always welcome to opt-out, modify, or take a break at any point. You are the best authority on your own body and experience.

Partner practice is optional and will be guided with clear consent and boundaries.

Sensations & Responses

Working with sound and vibration can bring up a wide range of physical, emotional, or energetic responses. These may include relaxation, emotional release, fatigue, heightened awareness, or subtle body sensations.

All responses are valid. You are encouraged to move slowly, stay hydrated, and rest as needed.

Nervous System Awareness

We will be working in a gentle, grounded way, prioritizing safety and regulation over intensity or performance. The goal is not to “push” or “fix,” but to listen and respond to the body.

Scope of Practice

Participants are responsible for staying within their personal and professional scope of practice. This workshop does not grant permission to diagnose, treat medical conditions, or practice outside of one’s training or licensure.

Learning Is Experiential

While this is an introductory workshop, the depth of material may naturally vary based on the experience, curiosity, and embodiment of the group. Some participants may experience insights or techniques that feel more advanced, while others will be building foundational skills. Both are welcome.

After the Workshop

Some people feel energized after working with sound, while others feel quiet or tired. Please plan your schedule accordingly and allow space for integration.

If you have questions or concerns at any time, you are encouraged to speak with the facilitator.
